ACCESSIBILITY
Digital Healthcare recognises that some Internet users with disabilities may find
websites difficult or even impossible to use because of the way they are designed.
As a supplier of software to the healthcare industry, Digital Healthcare has a responsibility
to promote equality in the delivery of information about its products and services.
This website has been developed to try to ensure that the information provided is
freely and easily accessible to all.
Wherever possible, navigation uses simple explanatory terms and recognisable link
formats to make access to site content as straightforward as possible. Images have
descriptive alt tags for identification purposes. Colours have been kept to a simple
palette with appropriate contrast to maintain clarity. Font size is adjustable through
a simple button based selection process, accessible through the footer menu on each
page.
Stylesheets have been used for all visual layouts. If your browser or browsing device
does not support stylesheets at all, the use of structured semantic mark up ensures
that the content of each page is still readable and clearly structured. You can
apply your own stylesheet onto this website by;
Internet Explorer; Select Tools, then Internet Options, then Accessibility, next
click on any or all 3 checkboxes to ignore colours, font styles or font sizes, in
the same window you can change your style sheet by clicking the checkbox that says,
'format document using my style sheet' then browse to your style sheet and click
OK
In Netscape; Select Edit, then Preferences and then Appearance, you will be given
the choice to specify your own colours and fonts.
JavaScript usage has been kept to an absolute minimum. Where it is used then all
pages and process are still accessible should Javascript be turned off.
Links have been written to make sense when taken out of context. Where appropriate,
we have also added link title attributes to describe the link in greater detail.
