BARS delegates enthuse over Digital Healthcare's latest product.
The BARS Annual Conference in Birmingham on the 2nd and 3rd of
October gave Digital Healthcare the opportunity to showcase the
latest version of their OptoMize software for screening programmes.
The new version was demonstrated to existing Digital Healthcare
customers and representatives of the ENSPDR at two private viewings
held alongside the BARS Conference. Customers unanimously agreed
that the new version, developed in direct response to customer
feedback, is a major step forward in allowing screening programmes
to better manage their services to patients.
Customers particularly liked the powerful new Appointment and Clinic
Management module which makes it quicker and easier for users to
fill clinics in batches and find free slots and the new Reporting
Suite which allows a drill down of the NSC report to see the detail
of patients behind the numbers.
Digital Healthcare also took the opportunity to demonstrate some of
the optional new modules that they have developed to enhance the
management of screening programmes, including an Automated Patient
Register Update module that automatically adds and updates patient
records with feeds from external data sources and a GPWeb module
providing GPs the ability to access, print / download their patient
result letters over the internet from their own surgery.
Barry Keown, Product Manager at Digital Healthcare commented "we are
delighted by the reaction from our existing customers to the new
version of OptoMize. This new version has been developed with direct
input from those customers and builds on the proven success of the
original product in helping screening programmes achieve their
targets and deliver better patient care."
Immediately following the launch over 25% of Digital Healthcare's
customers requested formal quotations to upgrade to the new version.
Ash Samad, UK Sales Manager commented "with such a positive reaction
and take up of OptoMize V2 and these new modules it is proof
positive that by listening to our customers and delivering what they
most want we really are able to work with them in a true partnership
